I already said he's a Green Devil for life on the TH Boards. Brown is the first to go if it comes down to it.
Current wages aren't finalized, I have a feeling this is just the raw wages, without the coaching factors (Player relations and Negotiations) taken into account.
Dear lord, if that's the case I'm going to have an absurd amount of space.
It'll probably only save you a couple mill at most, if I'm right.
I'm already going to have $8-10 mil free after getting FAs in and cutting some guys, so a couple mil more is just going to give me a laughable amount. I could go out and get 2 new defensive pairs.
Smallest fan club and arena in 1.1 by a mile (to be expected) but more supporters than 17 of the 31 other teams. Promoting twice in a row gives some funny numbers. Unless someone does that this year, I might even end up on the bottom of those two categories next year too.
edit: only 4 teams in 2.2 have smaller arenas than me and 10 have smaller fan clubs. I really like that these numbers are just going to go up and up for me over the next year. Should give me a budget that goes up a fair bit every season for a while.
These numbers better not be finalized. My wages went up 2 mill so far and I haven't even had my $5.5 mill winger arrive yet!
However, if I recall, my budget compared to most other teams was low, so perhaps if my budget increases a bit, I can keep my current team with my new winger with only minimal cuts.

If I were in your position, I'd be looking to get exactly that.

If you check out your season goal selection, it shows you proposed budgets for each goal... If these numbers hold, I'll end up 1.5 into my flex... for the 3rd straight season.

I see. Yeah, my proposed wages are $47.8 and my top 2 sponsorship numbers are $53.3 and $52.6.
However, I KNOW those numbers do not include my new $5.5 mill stud winger and new super cheap 3rd goalie, so I still will have to cut salary somewhere.
Of course, I'd LOVE to pick the first sponsor goal, but the goal is to reach the Conference Final. I know I have a stud team, but there is a legit 50/50 chance I dont get bounced early to due to injuries or matchups.

Wanna switch places? Haha. I am absolutely, no matter what happens, not running in flex this season. For real.
I just wanna accept this new contract. It's gonna leave me almost maxed out into the flex, but I have alot of dead weight I'll cut instantly and maybe try to sign another d-man or two
Hey I have a random question - just started Trophy Hockey and I love it....
Do you get any penalties for putting a guy out of position (LW vs RW)? And how do you train a guy to play a new position? I got so many freaking LW's and crap for RW.

You'll see something called EPA (Estimated Player Ability) on the tactics page... some guys play better on one side than the other. The number under their name changes as you move their position... that's the penalty. Their natural position will have the highest EPA, and the greatest penalty will be at the position they are least able to play.
If you have any other questions, keep asking, I'm really, really ****ing bored.

Depends, some players are good wingers, some aren't. If you look at the player, where there EPA is in the upper right, you'll see LW, C, RW, G, etc which shows their ability to play that position. Usually, a RWer is a little weaker at LW and vice versa.
So are players wages adjusted? When can we get our freaking FA's so I can adjust my team? I can't waive my expensive backup goalie because I'm at my minimum for goalies.

Thanks!
So if I go to the EPA and decide I want to move him, how do I do it? Just put him in the lineup wherever? I guess I wanted to see if I could change his profile to show that he's a RW instead of a LW.
BTW - I just posted Trophy Hockey on the Avs board. I hope a lot of guys start playing from HF. This game looks awesome. And I love the strategy/tactics involved so far.
