ahahha ... can we blame the Rider fans though?

I mean, what kind of fan would let the "enemy" have a full night of rest?

I heard somewhere that each Als player gets something like $22 000.... Maybe the league should do something classy and round it up to $25 000 as a gesture / apology.

Not blaming the fans at all. But the league has to be incredibly stupid to let that happen.

Place des Arts is about as downtown as it gets, and the place has been built for events like that, get used to it.

I was there and it was ****ing awesome. I was standing on the corner of Crescent and St-Catherine and followed the parade all the way through Place des Festivals. It was a 10 minute walk and it was awesome. Really nothing wrong about going all the way to Place des Arts, the spot was perfect. The crowd wasn't too packed so everybody had some space and I think all the fans were happy.

Anyhow, great times this afternoon despite the weather.

not really. just another huge waste of money for a few outdoor rock concerts, this is why our taxes are being raised (plus to pay union col bleu slobs who make 80,000$ a year).

I went, saw the whole thing, from crescent to the end... The players must of felt on top of the world going down St.Caths.

The only downer was the ****ing old man PA guy who called up the players.. I mean, couldn't they get someone with a bit more ENERGY to get the crowd into it?

here's a pic from Avon Cobourne, from the truck... with the crowd / mounted police following from behind http://plixi.com/p/60327075

@ 23hab

Seeing the old logo reminds me that the Alouettes *have* to scrap that silly looking angry bird thing they have going. Get the triangle back, or even the "A".
