I don't think we're gonna win this one. We'll go out there with our usual sub-par effort to start, then fail to finish several times, as we lose by 1 goal.

I think we win. The team learned not to underestimate the Isle early in the beginning of the season and I think we've really seen them start playing with intensity.

Hopefully after the game we won't need Hank and Avery to call another players only meeting.

LETS GO RANGERS

Yeah, Lundqvist spoke about it this morning. I just hope all the guys realize that you can't play sloppy against the Isles, because they're always raising their game against us.

I hate it that the Rangers always play down to the Islanders, well, it seems that way to me. These should be two easy wins on paper, but you never know with the Rangers.

Don't like how torts ha seemingly given up on/forgotten seamed like he had a three game skid and got dumped to the fourth line, typical torts move. Anyway I have a gut feeling the Avery first line experiment will either go very well or be an absolute trainwreck, he'll either play dealt well with gabs or delve himself into the rivalry and screw us with penalties.

No excuse for a loss. They're not better than us in any facet of the game, except maybe work ethic..

Let's go Rangers!!!

I say 5-2 Rangers. Two goals by Avery. That's all I'll guess.

If the Rangers don't win both of these games in dominating fashions I will consider it a failure. The Isles can get all the credit they want for "hustle" and "effort", but the difference between these two lineups is nothing short of amazing.

Fun facts; our PP, PK, shots for and against per game are almost identical.

Guess I'm glad our goaltending and shooting % is higher.

4-3 win in Shootout

Goals to

Gaborik (2)
Dubinsky

Comeau (2)
BJ master Wiz

EC and Dubinsky score in the shootout.

That 4th line is going to be a disaster, even with Anisimov on it. He's good with big bodied players though. If Frolov could be strong on the puck like usual and move the puck to the offensive zone for Anisimov to shoot, it could work well though as long as it's Anisimov doing the shooting.

Home and home with the Isles.

Yikes.

Lets not treat the Islanders lightly here -actually - lets not overrate the Rangers, especially at home. I'm looking at that Isles matchup on the 27th and its eerily similar to a year prior.

Take a trip back to last December when the Rangers were mired in a 1-5-2 stretch, the Isles came in for a home and home and the Rangers came out absolutely flat. It was embarrassing and they narrowly avoided a shutout going 1-6-2 over their last 9. I think we should all remember the board meltdown after that one.

That was rock-bottom for them. The tank threads starting popping up. Fire Torts threads. They tore it up with 4 straight wins after that, but....... in came the Islanders on the 26th, and they beat the Rangers again, in OT.

Nothing is a gimme in this league.

I'd start Hank on the road and then Biron at home.

Then back to Hank for 5 straight.

Gillies has been telling everyone that listens he wants a rematch with Boogy. If they get together on a shift it might get interesting. Konopka and Prust will go for sure
