Fix the Penalty Kill

Loved the game tonight! Hey we even scored a short handed goal.

But overall, that PK is pathetic. Dead last in the league.

What to do...?

let it keep failing so we get the highest draft pick possible?

MacT on the TSN broadcast said the main problem is Oilers D vacating their post position on the pk due to being enticed into the play.

Basically a case of the D trying to compensate for weak forward pk play and jumping to cover slot instead of around the net.

The vast majority of PP goals are coming close to our net.

Gotta tighten up that area but it requires everybody tightening up the box.

Well, we obviously had Hemsky and Gagner out there at one point... Not your typical penalty killers.

I think almost the entire team has had a try on the PK.

Horcoff was on the ice for both Canadiens PP goals.

Gilbert played really well tonight.

If the Oilers ever figure this thing out, they won't finish in last place. The kids are improving every game.
