Derek Boogaard, who missed three games with a shoulder strain, is ready to go. He, Todd White and Alex Frolov all skated on a line with Artem Anisimov in practice so figure one of those three wings will be a healthy scratch.
Because I am too lazy today to look it up, where is Josh Bailey? He isn't listed on that starting lineup or in the injuries? Correct me if im wrong but was he sent on a conditioning stint to the AHL?
At any rate, Tavares is the only part of that lineup that scares me at all. None of their D nor forwards are particularly impressive. The Islanders always play well against us, but there is no excuse. This is a must win otherwise the Rangers should hang their heads in shame.
This could happen... The Rangers are basically playing against an AHL team... Look at that roster!!! Ouch... a first line with Moulson and PA Parenteau has to be the worst first line in the history of the NHL. I don't even care if Tavares is centering that line... Not even Mario Lemieux would make that line good... LOL
Bailey was sent down after his 159th game in the NHL. It was in the middle of our 14 game losing streak and he either seems hurt, uninspired, or both. After 160 games, you have to pass through waivers to be sent down, so the team sent him down for either conditioning, a message to him/the team, or both.

Sadly, we don't have any actual players.
Is the first line for you guys really Gabs, Feds, and Christensen?
