Dean and his love for the injured type. Hope he works out.

It's not like he's some flop. He was a good player for Boston but had to be moved.

Waived the NTC because of Lombardi. Counts for something.

Couldn't have cost too much. Hopefully, it's the shot in the arm this team needs.

Can't wait til Sturm, Poni, and Mitchell are in the line-up!

I admit I don't know much about this guy. Assuming he is completely healed from his knee issues, what kind of numbers can/should he put up and is he a sniper or more of a playmaker?

@MurphysLaw74:

"Told Peter Chiarelli gave Sturm three teams to choose from but don't know who other teams were. Connection to Lombardi from San Jose days"

From what I saw last year, he was one of the Bruin's best scorers.

Hopefully he can come back from injury and be a good fill-in winger till the trade deadline. We're building up a good list of wingers, but no game breakers.

He had great chemistry with Bergeron. I say in a good line he can pot 25+ goals. Great speed, great on the PK, great guy.

Good luck Marco.

His first 4 years in the league were the only years he didn't score 20+ goals.

Hopefully he didn't overpay like he did for Halpern.

"Doesn't sound like LA is giving much up to obtain Sturm. Unconfirmed talk is a conditional pick."

I know, but Dean always likes to go after players with a history of injuries. I really hope this guy helps us out.

Still 3 weeks away from playing.

One day, we'll trade for someone who isn't hurt.

At long last a replacement for Frolov who can pot 20+.

I'm guessing the deal was probably in place for some time but Dean wanted to be sure Sturm would fully recover.

Kypreos says it could be just a conditional pick, I'm OK with that if that is all.

You guys are going to love his goal face

And we're going to miss it

No doubt he would still be a Bruin if it wasn't for cap issues. He should be a great secondary scorer for you guys. His heart is in every game and I'm really happy that he's going to a great team like the King's

He's a great team guy. During the 08-09 playoffs he designed and made all the guys caps that had a picture of a steak on the front with the words "Stay Hungry"

At most it will be one mid-round pick plus a conditional pick.
