Good comeback win tonight. I think Mr Martin coached our guys very well in spite of yesterdays mess. I believe he is showing the guys that no player is bigger than the team. I also love this Eller kid. I would love to see Pacioretty play with him.
Didn't see the game but it looks like Martin is loading up the PP time for Cammalleri and Gomez... maybe in an effort to give them some confidence and get them going.
Great game by us!! Really impressed by the team as a whole, although it was very much about Devils sucking as well.

I agree with the bolded, but I feel like I'm the only one who wasn't particularly impressed with the way we played tonight. Sure, the bounces went our way around the net and we played pretty well down low in NJ's zone. But our neutral zone play as well as our breakouts were awful. I can probably count on my two hands the amount of tape-to-tape passes we made all game. Even AK and Pleks were struggling with it so I'll give the team the benefit of the doubt in the second game of a back-to-back on the road. But we can't afford to be this sloppy with the puck if we want to become a more consistent team. IMO we were lucky to have played a team with such an awful defense tonight.
That said, it's nice to see some goals being scored no matter how they go in and hopefully the team can carry over some of the confidence they gained tonight into the next few games.
**** the devils suck, i love it. and what was kovalchuk thinking wanting to resign with them? put his career in hibernation? when that trade happened, i was like, ok wtv, he's not gonna stay there. he doesn't fit at all.
and the devils are going to have to stop playing trap + winning off 2 goals scored because brodeur will never donimate the league again. it's really all downhill for them and i can't get enough. all their core guys aren't used to this. they're used to winning and contending. they will surely pull hissy fits cause the've never experienced a ****** team before, and they will want off that sinking ship.

Cammalleri was solid, looked better than yesterday, still would like to see him shoot more!
Gomez had a good game for the most part, kind of fudged coverage on the Devils goal, but he made things happen out there.

He was out there for the Devils goal and scored one...shouldn't that make him even?
Gomez scored on the PP and was on the ice for a 5on5 goal.

Well, well what do you know. No Markov, no Subban and we still beat a team we struggled against for the longest time. Now I know Brodeur was out and Jersey's a bottom feeder this year but we still got the job done at the end of the night.
Struggling forwards. Mediocre PP. Injured #1 d-man. And we lead our division, with the same points as Philly and Pittsburgh. Pretty damn impressive.
Nice test Sat vs SJ. Glad I don't have to choose whose in or whose out but imo, PK deserves a chance to bounce back.

when i was playing hockey in bantam, i remember being on the ice on a goal against
and i remember my friend telling me how he jumped as high as he could after we got scored on
and i asked him why?
he said he didnt want to be on the ice for a -1 , lol, still makes me laugh 10 years later
