DECEMBER SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

Gabby just creates the play so well and he gets open. When he gets open it's easy to get him the puck.
The guy is one of the best goal scorers in the world. It's certainly a fun thing to get to play with him.
- Sean Avery

Hopefully we can build on this.
We just have to make sure we don't give them as much as we did in the 2nd and 3rd periods.
- Marian Gaborik

I guess that's just what happens in this building.
Earlier this year, we were on the losing end, so trying to take a positive out of it, we won a game.
- John Tortorella

Yeah, that's a dispressing stat...but they were a little better last night with Dubi, Stepan, Boyle and EC winning at least half of their FOs...still they need to find a way to fix this...

I noticed a big difference in the Rangers play with the extra day off of rest. They had a breakdown again last night but that may have been the most dominating first period of play I've seen from the Rangers in a long time. Isles only get the huge momentum swing goal at the end of the first period because Biron's game was completely off.

Good thing is, tonight, the Rangers have the momentum playing at the Garden.

Just worried about a let down, (possibly) fatigue, and the fact that the Islanders completely go all out and relish playing the under dog (like 1980 Lake Placid) when ever it's Isles vs Rangers.

They'll probably come out flat at home as usual.

MSG has turned into the World's Most Boring Arena.

Why the pessimism? We are playing the Islanders. As a Ranger fan, you should expect nothing short of a win.

These are the type of games that this team should win.

Look for the Isles to come out flying. I think it's important that the Rangers set the tone and take the body early and often.

Maybe because the team plays the world's most boring hockey at home.

If only they could bring their road efforts to MSG...
