Gilroy is still learning the pro game and he still has potential, but right now he's at best a 6th dman. His biggest problem though is that he's making 2.1 mil this year in actual salary (cap hit is 1.75 mil). He'll be RFA next year and his QO will be 2.1 million.
No team is going to trade for Gilroy for what he can do for them this year, and I can't see any team wanting to give him a 2.1 mil QO next offseason. Maybe some team will bite so they can evaluate him and then not QO him and try to sign him for less, but I doubt it.
Todd White's biggest problem is that he's Todd White. But he's UFA at year's end and he won't cost much against the cap come the trade deadline. Maybe some team would take a flyer on him, but again, it's doubtful.
