Lee will get his chance to get back in very soon. I don't even think it's all that bad of a thing. At least The Sens are going to have one motivated player willing to do all he can to stay in the lineup.

Is anyone the least bit surprised that Hale cleared waivers?

No one is going to claim him and be stuck with his NHL contract for the year.

THIS...... and really people, David Hale just isn't that good. The only team to offer him a contract was Ottawa, at the time it was clearly to be in Bingo, he cleared waivers to get there, 2nd pass by 29 GMS, now he clears again.

I don't think many are surprised Hale cleared waivers, I think they were more surprised Murray put him on waivers after sending Lee down.

Probably was to just save some cap space, but when he's trying to move Lee it's something to speculate.

According to the Bingo Facebook page he's probably going to play tomorrow against Hershey.

Bingo's D just got worse. I don't want him taking playing time away from some of the kids.

They had to send somebody down. They can't just keep 2 extra d-men in the press box indefinitely.
