Wouldn't mind seeing Prust sit this one out. I admire the guy's heart and think he's been great this season, but he really looked like he was hurting towards the end of the game last night. This early in the season, it might make sense to give him a few days to heal. Give White a chance on the 4th line. He'll have fresh legs, too, as he didn't play last night.

I don't see how you can sit him right after he scored a goal last night. It was flukey, but it wouldn't have gone in without him.

Prust doesn't need to play every game, but it would send a horrible message to sit him tonight.

MSG.com says islanders pregame on MSG+2 so it should be Sam + Joe in HD.

I'd take Prust with no legs over White and his fresh legs.

If Prust is healthy then he shouldn't be sitting at all. I didn't watch the game last night though, so that's a big 'if'.

White is actually our best faceoff man who isnt injured, and we've been playing him at RW.

This isnt necessarily the best time to experiment with Boyle at wing, but I suppose it could happen.

Another damn blackout tonight. Every ****ing time the Sabres have a home game. Nobody ****ing likes the sabres.

I'm expecting the Islanders to come out with a chip on their shoulder, and they'll probably play hard as they always do against the Rangers. Hopefully we'll actually play the full 60 minutes tonight and pick up 2 points.

LETS GO RANGERS!!!

Terrible Idea he is on the PK and scored a goal last night he is also the second toughest guy on the team and we are playing a rival at home.

Per Gross;

No changes for #NYRangers, Henrik Lundqvist in tonight vs. #Islanders. But if Brandon Prust (sore left arm) can't play, Todd White will.

He's great, and has been playing great. But if he's as banged up as he looks, I don't know if I'd want to risk him aggravating that arm injury. I'd rather him miss a game against the Isles now than hurt himself more severely and have to miss multiple games after this.

All just speculation though.

Konopka and Avery exchange words at red line... didn't look that hostile, though.
