Not my family. Everyone buys one present, $25 max, and we do the white elephant. Good times.

I'm not Jewish, but I love potato pancakes. I actually made some homemade ones the other day.

Happy Hanukkah! (Or do you all prefer Chanukah? Or Chanuka?)

Chaka-khan?

and you don't have to be Jewish to make potato pancakes. My Oma (grandmother. she's German) makes awesome ones.

I went to my girlfriend's house for Hanukkah last night. I got to light the menorah. Then we had Hanukkah dinner at Chevys. Hanukkah rules.

If you enjoy some weird beer... get some of this ASAP!! It's awesome. You can find it at Whole Foods and maybe BevMo, or other fine booze retailers...

Celebrating the end of classes and Chanukah tonight with a cocktail hour at my place: "Vodkas and Latkes," terrible rhyme, tasty results.

Had a couple Jewish friends growing up - they really didn't care about it ... the gifts they got weren't like Christmas, they were more like a pack of gum or a pencil. Maybe they were just cheap ... damn stereotypes.
