Pientrangelo isn't a rookie. He played more than 6 games for the Blues in each of the last 2 seasons.

You guys are right. I didn't know about the 6 games in two separate seasons rule. Here are the Calder Trophy eligibility criteria...
1. 26 years old or younger by September 15 of their rookie season.
2. A player cannot have played any more than 25 games previously in any single season, nor have played in more than six games in two separate preceding seasons in any major professional league.
I still think Shattenkirk is way ahead of Subban right now and Fowler's also likely ahead. Having said that, I'd like to reiterate that we Habs fans shouldn't give a rat's *** about an individual trophy. I'll also never vote for Price for the All-Star game....would rather see him get some rest during that period.
