disgusting. I tried a teammate's intermediate Syko for a few shifts. It was really awkward in my hands and upon receiving passes, the blade felt like complete wet cardboard

Hmmm, they only come in 100 flex, that's pretty stiff. I can see getting one entry level stick if you're a newer player, use it till you break it then get something a bit better next time when you have a better idea of what works best for you (flex/curve wise), but 3 seems like a bit much.

My favorite flex is a 75/77 (will be one or the other depending on the brand). Current stick is an Easton ST, 85 flex (lowest flex it comes in), decent performance, feels a bit stiffer than an 85 flex to me, but got it cause it was on sale for almost half off, and I've been breaking a tonne of sticks recently so wanted something more durable. Favorite stick ever was a Bauer one95, 77 flex, phenomenal performance, but pricey and I broke it within 2 months (almost all high end sticks are pretty fragile IMO, to get that light weight and nice flex they have to use really thin walls).

100 flex is really stiff, you'll have trouble getting a good flex on your wristers and snappers unless you have great technique or are really big/strong. What's your height/weight/hockey experience? If you've never played rep hockey and are a normal sized dude I definitely would not recommend a 100 flex.
