(Canada) NHL Network airing Phantoms games...

It looks like they are going to show the double overtime game tomorrow night...

Tuesday, June 7
Top 10: Offensive Performances of the 1999 Playoffs, 6pm et/3pm pt
2005 Calder Cup Final: Philadelphia at Chicago, Game 2, 7pm et/4pm pt

This will be my first chance to see Carter/Richards in action so I'm excited. How did Joni look?

2004 ECSF Game #5 and #6 vs. the Leafs last week and now this..nice!

Thanks,
-Cnote-

Any chance they'll be broadcasting any of the games live? I heard Leafs TV would have some of the games this week, but I don't get that channel. It would be nice to be able to watch the games instead of just listening to the webcast.

He looked like himself during most of the playoffs. Joni's been stepping into people a lot this year and has really improved the physical aspect of his game. That one was no exception. I don't think he was too much of an offensive threat throughout that game, but you notice him moving the puck on the powerplay and he does a good job getting back on defense to avoid odd-man rushes.

Well I better clear my calendar.

I checked out the schedule for the NHL Network, no games other than game 2 are scheduled. But for those in Flyers withdrawal starting on Saturday night they will be airing the series vs. Tampa through next Friday.

Join the club, it is hard to even get highlites on TSN , The Score, and Sportsnet. But you get to see Paul Tracy win a race 8 times an hour. They are missing a golden opportunity to show games. Even Winnipeg's local cable network was picking up the Moose road games.

The NHL Network will be playing airing all 4 of the games mentioned below. The thing is they are not allowed showing these games until two days after they happen.

The Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League are proud to announce that Comcast SportsNet and CN8 will be televising Games Two, Five, Six and Seven of the Calder Cup Finals between the Phantoms and the Chicago Wolves.

Note: The reason TSN has the Spelling Bee is because 300,000 people tune in to watch it.

UNBELEIVABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a crime, but they get as many viewers for Poker as for hockey, so why should they pay huge commercial rates for hockey???

It's the same at CBC. They get almost the same viewership for Movie Night in Canada as for Hockey Night. Why pay huge rights fees if they can pay a lot less for old movies?

The NHL really blew it by cancelling this season...
