I assume the exclamation point means it's a goal for the guys in black/green/home team colors?

Its good that our offense can win us a game when needed kari gave up some juicy rebounds for those goals..it was good to get some offense for him tonight.

last time we won 6 in a row: 1/27/2008-2/11/2008 a streak that lasted 7 games. That February we only lost two games for a 12-2 record, I miss those days.

The 07-08 season was also a quality one. Not a bad one to try and emulate.

Though I could do without a Richards trade this time around.

Maybe we could do a 3 way trade to get Jussi and Mike Smith back!

I'd rather have retained Halpern and sent Vishnevskiy instead.

The Stars best players really struggled tonight but the lower guys stepped up. I dont know if he was threatened by Larsen or what but Niskanen was very good, especially in the first two periods. Hard luck to play one of your best games and get a -1 but that happens. Larsen was also good. Skrastins is struggling right now and Grossmans level of play hasnt been great the last few games.

It was a truly a great battle->Larsen and Niskanen fought tooth and nail to prove who was the least dependable defenseman on the ice

Didn't feel like a win, but we got the two points

Coolio

Minus caseman's last comment, how did Larsen look tonight?

And I didn't watch the game, but I did see the highlights, do you all think the Mittens goal should have counted? From the angles I saw it looked a lot like he punched it in. I guess that's our karma for all the whining and *****ing Caps fans, except we actually won anyway.

Larsen, IIRC, played almost exclusively on the power play. Willing to shoot but some boneheaded turnovers. Still looks like he could use a protein shake or 200.

2 points is 2 points. I'll take them any way, shape, or form.

6 in a row. That's fun.

I have a feeling once he starts taking those protein shakes he'll be ok, at least I hope so for the sake of our future defense.

We should had been able to win this by the 2nd period but missed some great chances and then the Finns got one back..

Richards and Ribs were running the show.. Looking forward to the game against Turco and the Hawks on wed.

I'll be at that game in Chicago, I'd like to see Turco let in some softies for us. The last two years I've gone to one of the two games each year in Chicago and we've lost both so I'd like to see a change for once.
