Hi guys, I am planning to go to my first game at MSG was thinking about purchasing the Club Silver seats in either section 67 or 68, they seem pretty good but their price is lower than the other seats is there a reason for that ? Has anybody sat there before ? Thanks..
Organising a trip with a friend to come over for three games in late February/early March. Looking for a hotel for 7 nights in central New York.
Anyone know of any decent hotels for 200-300$ per night? Cheaper than that would obviously also be welcomed!
Only preference we have is that the location should be within 20 minutes walking distance from MSG.
Any help appreciated!
It's good that you've set your price range that high. I don't think you'll need to go to $300, but obviously you'll have plenty of options to choose from however you & your friend decide.
Last time I was in New York I stayed at a Hilton. There are 2 within 7 city blocks of each other (W. 28th & W. 35th). MSG is literally right there with either one of them.
It gave me all the convenience, accessability, & energy of the city outside plus a nice view and pad to stay in on the inside. Super clean room and great staff I should also mention; all for very affordable pricing.
All this being said, I know that a lot of people like to stay in unique(aka NYC-only) establishments so hope you find a good one if that is your aim.
I'll be staying right by MSG, so I'll check out one of those I think. Any recommendations as to which is best?
Id say The Flying Puck, they have Center Ice, and when I asked my bartender (the Irish girl Rachel, for those who go there frequently) if she wouldn't mind putting the Sharks game on, she was happy to do so. The other night they played the Ranger game vs the Devils, the Boston game vs the Caps, and the Canadians vs the Sabres all at once. was pretty awesome. And its only two blocks from MSG
Hey guys, I went to the team store and bought one of those nice 3rd jersey shirts for 30 bucks wednesday.
Problem is, I got it a size too large.
I tried calling MSG but the store was closed.
Do you know how they handle returns?
I live 250 miles away, wanted to know if I can mail it back w/receit and get a refund.
Any one have any good NYC souvenir ideas? I want to bring some stuff back for my co-workers and boss, and family as well...
i would roll around soho/east village/nolita and get something really unique. check out the morrison hotel gallery, keep eyes peeled for limited time exhibits, get some handmade one of kind stuff.
i would steer clear of i love ny shirts and crap like that. get thm something special, not a mini empire state building chachka....unless they are into that (i sometimes get suckered into crap like that when traveling abroad)
try the roerich museum
but seriously, hit up nolita on a weekend afternoon and you'll find some interesting stuff. if take the L to williamsburg (get off at the bedford stop) you can also find some nice things...and some good food! and you'll be a stones throw from the music hall of williamsburg which is basically the MSG of brooklyn as far as bands are concered (even though it only seats roughly 350)
