And need to play around with different apps/widgets to improve the home screens.

What do you do for task/app management? One thing I noticed is after using it for a few hours my free memory dropped to 20-30 MB and after a restart went up to 200 MB. With low memory I couldn't get videos to load or work worth a damn. But I read with Froyo you shouldn't use a task killer app?
As for a task killer, I wouldn't use them. Basically, what it's doing is closing all of your apps you're not using. Then, when you want to go back into whatever app; it's already been closed down and has to completely start back up again. So really, you're draining more battery time that way.

As far as the battery in general, continued use over long stretches (like first getting the phone and playing around with everything) absolutely drain the battery. You'll want to make sure you've got your charger handy when you do these tasks, either plugged into the wall of computer.

I'd also suggest going into you screen settings and turning down your backlight brightness. Something around 50% really conserves your battery use. You can find that in the Display area of your phone.

I like to have widgets that sit on one of my screens that I can one-click to quickly change my brightness. I currently use SwitchPro but that's a paid app and you can find others which are free. Dazzle is one that does the same but doesn't have the customization to make it match the theme you're going for.

I left the name blank for now. So if anyone has any ideas as to what they want it changed to, speak up.

Yeah, someone made a reference to the Wild being a modern-day William Randolph Hearst in one of the logo threads.

Also, I don't know if anyone has ever participated in an adult spelling bee but it's a lot more fun than it sounds.

You get a free beer every time you spell a word right. It makes it really fun by round 3 or 4.

I just like regular spelling bees, so an adult version is icing on the cake. Ha. Do they have you spell "adult" words like gonorrhea or something?

No, although someone did have to spell "ecstasy."

Think I'm going to regret benching Vernon Davis for Greg Olsen for a long time. Right now I need to win to get into my fantasy playoffs and that's not going to help.

I ALMOST started Shank over Davis today. Really glad I didn't. Sorry, man.

"Fire Kill" doesn't have the same ring as Mason or Brewster. In fact, it sounds like a compliment or a marching order if anything.

Apparently it's down everywhere. Busy signal is because of all the angry callers who don't have Internets.
