He'll never score another goal in his life as soon as he puts on the blueshirt.

Exactly. He will never burn the Rangers again. Brilliant scheme.

sign Comeau, Rupp, and Kelly, and just keep them as healthy scratches.

I would have no problem with Todd White as our 4th line center...if we didn't have 5 centers better then him already (current + dru). If he can't make the Rangers with our center depth...

Anyone else absolutely shocked that he's played in 14 games this season?

I've watched every game, and thought there was no way he's played in more than 5...

wow.

so let me get this straight, Drury's contract was still on the cap this whole time so Drruy coming back in the lineup and White going down actually saves the Rangers money on the cap?

aint that funny

Yes, stunned actually, I looked it up once before and I was totally stunned. This guy is a dud, send him to the ECHL, Hartford doesn't deserve him.

I haven't seen a healthy player this useless in years and that's saying a lot. Great signing.

Putting players on LTIR doesnt take them off the cap unless they are replaced

It doesn't take them off the cap period. LTIR allows us to replace the player's salary, even if we go over the cap, but replacing Drury would have eaten up the little cap space we have. We are already pushing some of the bonus money into next year as it is. Once White clears, we need to send him down. If we need an injury replacement before Drury gets back, Gilroy can play 4th line or we can call up MZA.

Yeah, that was the best season of his career. He got hurt 4 times last year and I'd be willing to bet if he played 14 minutes a game every game this season he'd be injured right now.
