Habs beat Sens

Just because I am in Colombia doesn't mean I can't start a PGT.

So good it needed 3 PGTs!

The Habs did all the white things tonight...

Not a great win. A solid 1st, lousy 2nd and a dominating 3rd. Don't know what happened to the Sens in that last period. After killing those penalties so well in the 2nd I thought they would come out motivated. I guess not.

PK back next game?

I hope so. The D was very average tonight.

Booo, I was so first.

Seriously though, do the Habs have the best defense in the league? Best PK, least amount of goals against(Boston does have the same, but two less games played).

Weber and Picard struggled. Habs win 4-1. Could JM have a better answer to his Subban situation if he'd asked for it?

I've been one of martin's biggest critics (mostly for his line juggling though) but we don't have the best defense, we have the best executed defensive system.

Great 1st period, expansion team like 2nd period, and a solid 3rd period. Luckily, the Sens can't score or tonight would have been a different story. Let's hope Gomez is alright, and PK will definitely be back in to help the horrid power play.

how anyone thought ottawa was going to be good this year is nuts. maybe they turn it around but i wouldn't bank on two 38yo's + the enigma that is spezza anchoring your offense all year

The scrum at the end is the most important team toughness. Guys stepping in right away to defend their teammates.

Is it just me, or is Carkner a huge ***** ? Every time Montréal is going to win he tries to get dirty near the end.
