Flyers @ Van/LA/Ana Anyone going?

@Van - 12/28

@LA - 12/30

@ ANA - 12/31

I am planning on seeing all 3 of these west coast games and would love to met up with anyone from this site. I have seen the Flyers play in all of these cities before and it's always a great time.

REALLY hoping to see the game here in Van.

but aint got tix yet, still on the fence waiting for a leighton update.

if hes playing here that nite i'll be a rabid ******* if i cant go..

if Bob/boosh is in net i'd still like to go, but wont be that excited as i would be otherwise..

i had actualy hoped to have my Leighton jersey in hand hoping to get it autographed but alas everytime i go to actualy get it ordered some kind of setback for the lad happens..

i dont wanna order it then hear he gets waivered or something right after..sometimes it feels like his future is in my hands cuz without fail when i mention or make a move to get on teh whole jersey ordering thing news breaks out thats never good..

hahaah...

The idea that the return of Michael Leighton is the main factor in deciding whether or not someone goes to a game is stunning to me.

I will be at the Flyers @ Kings on December 30 and the Flyers @ Ducks on December 31. I would really like to go to the game @VAN, I really like the 'Couve.

I will be sitting behind the Ducks bench, as my dad got season tickets from a client. I was wondering what would be acceptable to wear during the game. Would sitting behind the Ducks bench in my Orange Richards jersey be fine, as long as I do not make obscene gestures to the camera when the zoom in on the Ducks bench?

why's that ???

I really could care less if some here don't like him

if fact I'm pretty sik of whole attitude of rippin on board members and players on the team that goes on here

I belong to alot of BB's but not one of em allow that kind of personal attack antics that frequently are shown here

I don't think you were being personally attacked. I think it is more a question of, if you truly are a FlyerFan4Life, why would the play of Leighton determine whether you would see them in their only visit to the West? It's as if I said I don't want to see a Miami Heat game unless Chris Bosh is playing.

If I heard Leighton was starting that would be a reason for me to not watch the game.

Can't.
I'm still laid off and xmas shopping killed my savings. Plus, tickets to Nucks games are so damn pricey.

If I was in Calgary for Xmas I would be going to the game in Van. I will be on the other side of the Country tho.

Last time I saw them in Van we won 8-2 - it was great!

Go to the game regardless of who is playing, ITS THE FLYERS - nuff said.

U mad?

Seriously though, no one's attacking you here, this is strictly a Michael Leighton thing. Not a personal thing either, more of a "you're not a very good goalie and quite possibly the reason we lost our first Stanley Cup Final since the 1990's" type of thing...

it's not just this thread, it's this whole flyers forum

seems if someone doesnt agree with you it's open season to say anything you like about the poster or the player in question

sometime I have to check and make sure I'm not in the opposing teams subforum

I came here as a fan of the flyers and as of late because of Leighton, but now everytime my posts get replied to it's either a slam on my opinion or the player...

we all like different things, but at the end of the day we all are fans of the same team, so why the need to attack ??

there's some players on the team I don't like but I'm not gunna come out and post " I hope you get run overby a train"

That post is ridiculous.

And you bring a lot of the hate on yourself by being a blind homer with no objective reasoning. I thought you had gone for good after the SCF, but now you are back to stir up **** with absurd posts and then act like a drama queen when we don't play nice.

If you hate our board so much then by all means, go elsewhere.

My friend is going to the Canucks game but he's a Nucks fan so we have to not piss each other off before, during and after the game.

It's really out of hand. Plus being a 5 hour drive, wife and I would want to stay in a hotel on top of that...pretty expensive overnight outing.

Kings with my son, his 2nd. My avatar is from his first game last year. This year he has a home orange jersey to wear. It has become an annual tradition for me and a group of hockey fans from work to go to the Kings game. This year we had enough people for a suite. Same price per seat as lower level end. Last year I started a side tradition with my 5 year old son. We stop at "Philly Best" on the way for cheese steaks, tasty kakes and birch beer. I wonder if I can take boxes of Tasty Kakes into the suite.

I still have to convince the wife I can take my son to Anahiem and then go out with her later that night for New Year's eve. Boo...NHL scheduling.

sorry but i disagree with you. a proper stop at phillys best consists of italian hoagie (no damn mayo either),tasty kakes, franks black cherry soda, and wise chips....

seriously though, the phillys best in burbank, has a huge blow up pic of the art museum down towards downtown, that i love looking at it every time im there.

GO FLYERS!!!
