Because, how else is he supposed to project his insecurity as a BJ fan if he doesn't **** talk after every win?

It's a awesome strategy if the team's goal is to make the playoffs and lose in round one.

Richards, Benn, Ribeiro, and Eriksson should always be the top 4 options for the shootout.

Gagnon

How was Gagnon in this game??

...and it looks like Daley had a good game offensively and defensively?

Sorry, I did not read a single post yet, so appologize for duplication. HIT THE ****** NET DALLAS. That was absolutely disgusting, kinda like the call on Skrastins. The guy played the puck first. Only takes one night for the Washington call to level off. Regardless, how shameful being the only Stars fan in the bar, and hanging out with a Leafs fan and having to watch the Leafs come back from 4-1, and simultaneously watching the Stars come undone. And I was buying!!! Is there any justice?

Overall, it seemed to be a fairly evenly matched game last night. Note: I didn't say a good game, I said an evenly matched one.

I was also surprised by how many time the Stars were completely missing the net - is that normal or was it just a bad game?

The Jackets on the other hand are making a habit of missing completely open nets - infuriating.

Good luck in Chicago.

It wasn't just a bad game, it was a terrible game, lol.

Do the Jackets share an arena, or is the ice just normally that bad? I know the Stars had some terrible ice the other night, but the Mavs had played the night before, so it was understandable.

Gagnon was very good. He skated well, he cycled hard, he drove to the net, and collected an assist for his troubles.

Daley was looking like he always does (bad) until he got cleaned out on an incidental? hit away from the puck that he wasn't expecting. After that he appeared as if he was shot out of an inflatable cannon.

The CBJ don't share with another team, only for events. There was a season ticket holder skate there on Sunday evening (we went). I was surprised at how bumpy the ice was. Not just ruts, but actually bumpy. I think it has been pretty bad all year (I'll blame the ice for all the crappy passing we've been seeing )

Bumpy? There's no real reason for that, unless there's some sort of leak on the Zamboni, and even then it's lazy, for lack of a better term, ice people. Then again, that's for a public skate so it's not something that's needed to be pristine.

Bumpy might indicate a temperature control problem though, either with the building itself or with the refrigerant system under the ice.

Playing on bumpy ice sucks.

I'll agree, the ice looked pretty bad last night. Players falling over for no apparent reason. When one of them was Niskanen I wasn't too surprised, but I swear I counted at least four Stars players who appeared to randomly fall down.

The ice wasn't pebbly - the bumpiness wasn't at/on the surface. When skating with my sons (who have been on the ice maybe 3 times ever) and going slowly it wasn't noticeable. When I was free to skate at a grown-up pace, bones were rattling. Looking at the surface, there didn't seem to be enough ruts to cause the amount of rattling I was experiencing.

bumpy ice is horrible but most of the time it is caused by the water in the zam not being the right temperature. if the water is not warm it freezes on top unevenly and is not a chronic problem. it could be bumpy for a free skate and smooth for a game
