Happy Birthday. I guess... It is sort of awkward that he doesn't hold some capacity with the franchise anymore, though I suppose once you become a GM there is no going back.

Not true, Vachon was GM and is still around.

I too wish Dave Taylor a Happy Birthday. He was a solid two way player and one of the nicest hockey players around. I will forever be grateful for him drafting our number one center and our starting goalie. Scary to think where LA would be without Kopitar and Quick!

It's a debateable issue. I'm glad he grabbed Kopitar and Quick too. Would have also been glad had he not drafted the likes of Steckel, Tambellini, Biron and Karlsson in the first round.

I'm still glad he got hired in St. Louis. good for him and I hope he does extremely well there. He's a good persn and deserves to be part of the league as long as he wants.
