unlike jay-blow, however, he's been asserting himself physically, too. he absolutely plastered an avalanche player tonight behind the net.

Those last 2 goals by Booth and Weiss were just sick.

it really wasnt that "exciting" other than the fact that it was extremely even. it was a very tight checking game, not many chances for either team...but very poor goaltending, especially by anderson, who looked awful. he was kicking out HUGE rebounds on extremely routine shots. vokoun let in a couple softies too...

weiss and booth finally showed up! it's about time. frolik had a decent game too.

not sure if he showed up on the scoresheet....but santorelli, again, looked good. created a couple good chances.

ellerby, too, looked excellent again. he really shouldnt lose his job when allen is healthy.

kulikov looked better.

dadonov didn't do much....but wasnt a liability either.
I thought he had a couple of nice shots but was a -2 on the sheet and he needs to work on his faceoffs. 3 wins out of 14 faceoffs does not help

Man, that was an impressive goal...and you have to admit, it was as much luck as it was skill. I think Weiss was surprised it went in, too.

Wow. That's about as good a goal as you'll ever see that isn't a pure skill type goal.

Yep, so when we miss Couturier by 2 points, everyone remember this goal.

Amen adam !

By the way... The first pick get awarded with a lottery... If we finish 30th and the 28th team gets the first pick, will you ask for 2 more wins and say our team is a failure because they didn't manage to get the first pick ?

NHL introduced the lottery just so you couldn't "buy" yourself an amazing prospect by tanking... Let the players play their season, and we'll make the count at the end !

And as long as we finish in the bottom-5 and get a chance for Couturier, I'll enjoy games like last night throughout the season !

It was a good game, pretty good game... I think our big guns are back !

Everyone should be disappointed with a win because it might not allow us to get Couturier, who's proven absolutely nothing in the NHL.

Seriously everyone should start crying right now.

Get on or get off the tank wagon, no more of this one foot in one foot out ********.

It's like a 2 year old who can't decide which toy they want with you people.

I was going to yell at my cable company because this game was listed on CI. and did not record on my PVR, but I guess they made the mistake of listing the game in the first place?

Uhm, Erick and BabyJ have been pretty much off the wagon the whole time.

Well, first of all, you're not gonna lose every game, tanking or not. So barely scratching by in a 1-goal game is fine by me.

And no matter how much i would like us to end up with the first overall, i will always root for the team to win. The only difference is, i'm less upset when we lose. But that doesn't change the fact that as a fan, i want wins.
