It will be interesting to see what happens with Trotz's comments about Dumont.

I think you stick with the current Smitty line and let Leggy center Spaling and Horny if you must sit JP. Breaking up Smitty line right now is crazy; they've played very well and if you put those pieces on different lines all the lines are offensively weaker - I'd rather just suck it up and let that line play a little more than I'd like and give the others a better chance to score.

Agreed. The suggested Leggy and Smithson lines make me queasy.

You need Spaling on the PK, even with Legwand in...it just gets stronger. Can't see them sitting out Dumont. He has good stats against Detroit. Ward makes sense, but maybe Tootoo? Guess you will find out soon

Can't say I disagree too much. Detroit isn't a team you're gonna get into a physical battle with. They are just too quick.

I know the first isn't even over yet, and I hope I am not jinxing you guys, but I think you have already won more faceoffs than you did all of last game!
Loved the "sniper" getting 55!

If someone could please kill the guy in the red sweatshirt that keeps standing up, I'd be really grateful.

Wow.. did we dominate the Red Wings that period or what? That was one of the best periods I can ever remember us playing in Detroit.

The one time he isn't standing up you guys score.... more incentive to tell your players to launch a puck at his head. Good luck!!!!

That period, and the first period against carolina, were the best periods this team have played all year.
Now...please do it for two more.

We were getting shots on net but a lot of them were on the perimeter. Need to get in closer and also get rebounds.
