I went through that last fall. My only regret now that I'm in law school is not getting plastered every single night of the spring semester.

I'll be in law school next year, and I made sure to get a schedule where I only have class two days a week next semester for this specific reason.
Ain't that the truth. I didn't fall into the "senioritis" trap yet. However, next semester when I legitimately only have one day of classes and do clinical hours the other days, I'll probably end up drinking at least 4 nights a week

Anyone watch Boardwalk Empire? Thought that was pretty solid as well.
My new favorite show on TV. Only Fringe and Curb Your Enthusiasm are better (IMO) at this point and time among shows still on the air.
Love Lavin, more excited for next year, but come on this senior class loses to the Bonnies at home?
Yea, it was pretty bad. Free throw shooting is horrible and cost us that game (I hate blaming refs, but they really let the Bonnies back in it and didn't give us ANY calls, but still, gotta fight through it against a team like St. Bonaventure). You can clearly see these guys are being coached up right now (btw STJ probably has the best coaching staff in the country now, just unreal), but the bottom line is these guys are just not that talented, have been horribly coached for 3 years, and are now learning a new system and trying to adapt and shake their bad habits. It's a learning process so I'm trying not to put too much stock into these close games against the "cupcakes" because I think as the season goes on, the guys will start to adapt a little more and learn the system, shake some of their habits, and begin to play a little better. I'd be more than happy finishing middle of the pack in the Big East anywhere from 6-10 (though 6 is just me being extremely optimistic).
The way I see it is I'm just viewing this season as playing with house money. The real start to the St. John's return to prominence is next year with the #2 rated recruiting class in the country coming in, including 6 top 100 players and a JUCO point guard who is already being looked at by NBA scouts and could potentially be the best recruit signed thus far. So this year I'm gonna just enjoy it, try not to get too mad when we lose, and keep cheering on the guys hopefully to the NCAA tournament. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't just want next season to start already!
Haha, I have a lot of respect for Jamie Dixon. I'm not sure there's a coach in the Big East that gets more out of less than him. Then he goes and signs the top center in the 2012 class Khem Birch. What's the deal with him, I saw he was reclassifying to 2011? I hope so, he's probably a one and done, so let him play while the STJ freshmen are adapting to the Big East, then get him out of there when these guys are sophomores and ready for a real run
