It'll probably be something like this ...
Daze | Arnason | Sullivan
Zhamnov | Dempsey
Calder | Ruutu | Radulov/Bell
Babchuk/Quint | McCarthy
If Babchuk makes the team, then Quint will probably be waived. Too bad Savard and Sutter's powerplay strategies include having Dempsey ring the puck along the glass every time they get set up, and using Karpovtsev and Klemm more often on the points than McCarthy.

So far it has been Zhamnov and Karpotsev playing the points on the number one unit. Dempsey's on the second. See above comments of despair.

Why isn't Quint used on the PP? I thought he was a decent PP dman.

I was at the game in Rochester last Thursday, and the Hawks has Dempsey and Quint together on the PP. They looked alright but never had a good chance to work the puck around. The whole PP rarely set up control in the Sabres' end, so it was hard to determine if they can gel.
Also, Ruutu looked good that night, I hope he can continue that way all year.
