Thank you.

Here's the Gretz patch. not the best scan because of the case it's in, but you get the idea...

It looks to be from one of the 9's on the shoulder to me.

I own quite possibly the best Drew Doughty RC collection in the world, which is crowned (pun intended somewhat) by The Cup Black 1/1 and The Cup gold 08/25, along with probably the largest collection of UD Black Lettermen /99 of one player (I might be the only person with an entire name plate). I also own some other prominent 8/## prominent Doughty RCs.

And I own The Cup Black 1/1 Jonathan Bernier...

Plus there's a The Cup /99 Anze Kopitar somewhere in that mix.

I am so jealous of you!

Another thing, I searched up that doughty 1/1 card on google and I am laughing because there is someone who made a site for his card wishlists, and one of his main ones is that Doughty card that you only have.
I am not sure if I am allowed to post a link but I may PM you.

I want to hijack this thread and turn it into my only personal wiki on buying hockey cards. As I have not bought a pack let alone been in a card shop in 10 plus years, I would really appreciate any info on collecting these days. More importantly which cards are the best to collect and which series are the most 'fancy.'

I am assuming all the autoed, jersey cut ones are...

Thanks dooooods.

I have a couple team autographed jerseys. One is from last season when I visited LA and the other is from 2005/06.

A bunch of signed cards form the 80's as well as McFarlane autographed Robitaille, Roenick and Dionne figures.

In terms of collecting these days I'm old school so I only look for pre 1988 O Pee Chee or Topps hockey cards, wax packs or wax boxes. If anyone has some let me know.

the best to collect i think it's still Upper Deck. Can't go wrong, and their addition of Young Guns has made it fun to collect them. They are affordable but not cheap.

Crosby rc goes for $350
Ovech rc goes for $120
Kopi rc goes for $40 and so on...

The Cup series however, are the most luxurious to collect, very expensive, just to give you an idea, common cards have a BV of approx $8 and some hard to get cards arent even priced due to scarcity.

A 2006-07 Kopitar The Cup RC goes for $600 so just imagine
