I think Fisher is gone next season. Adams isn't going to tolerate this collapse.

If that happens I bet Adams gets McDaniels or something idiotic like that.

Weis just wasn't cut out to be a college coach. His gameplan's were fine but he couldn't teach the college kids the fundementals. He's a great offensive coordinator, look at KC now.

I'm a Sox fan and I'm beginning to think a salary cap would be a good idea.

Major League Lacrosse identifies Nashville as potential expansion target.

I find this odd. Lax has historically been a Mid-Atlantic sport with growth on the West Coast in the last decade, but it hasn't really caught on in the South just yet. We have just 28 high school teams and just two varsity collegiate programs (Sewanee and TN-Wesleyan). Probably a ways off if we do, in fact, get a team, but I'm not sure how successful we would be as a market for pro lacrosse.

I'd rather keep the two teams we've got right now ... where do they play MLL ? ... in Arenas or outdoors ?

NLL would go over better in Nashville, IMO. It's indoor with dasher boards and checking, it's also a more established league. The fact the MLL is even considering a town like Nashville should be a sign of how badly it is struggling.

I grew up watching the Gaits brothers and Philadelphia Wings dominate the league, but i'm sure most Nashville natives wouldn't have a lot of interest in the sport. It's been enough of a struggle to grow the NHL to it's current level in town.

From what I've seen Lacrosse is picking up in TN. I know it's strong in the Private high schools where they are sending very talented players to top schools.

Lacrosse is a fun game and I think the best description is if hockey and soccer had a baby.

With of course soccer being the mother, hockey being the father, and lacrosse totally rejecting the mother's softer side.

I played very briefly my first year of college (I say "played" but the team was poorly organized and we didn't play a full game). It's a great sport to play and watch, but like hockey, the equipment gets expensive in relatively short order. There's a reason most of those 28 teams are at private schools like McCallie and MBA (who just had a player, Connor Pagnani, commit to Denver at the beginning of the year), or public schools in wealthy areas like Williamson County.

My main beef with a prospective MLL team would be them playing at the mausoleum that would be LP Field, but I did say that we need another summer sport in Tennessee. Lacrosse fits that bill. Besides, I would prefer the MLL and its contrived two-point line to the NLL, where teams have no idea how to create an intense atmosphere.
