Maybe he meant the most centered player in hockey?

"Use your chi, Giroux, use your chi!!!"

I think when he said "right now" he meant that very second. In all of the other games that were being played at that moment, he was the best. Then Crosby took a shift vs. the Leafs and he had to change his statement.

Maybe he meant: In the game, which shall begin in just a few moments, Giroux is the best centermen of either team?

I don't know?

He did say it, I was watching the game. During the next fragment of the show Eddie asked him again and was like "Really??". Englomb changed his answer saying he is number 2 behind crosby but he is the best center that also plays RW lmao and since crosby only plays center his first statement still holds. Eddie was like wtf ok whatever bro hahahaha
too epic I need a big laugh in this *****

Did they first start by saying that Crosby was the greatest player of all time and no one will ever beat the Penguins again?

My favorite thing about VS is when the Pens aren't even playing but still find a way to mention Crosby several times a period and have some sort of Crosby-related feature, update, etc during intermission. When I'm watching a Red Wings-Avalanche game, all I really want to hear about is Crosby.

Ha, ha, this reminds me of the way NFL commentators describe every player in the game they are currently watching as 'one of the best in the game.'

Giroux is good but he's not that good yet.

I want to start "The Official Fire Paul Holmgren and Hire Claude Giroux" thread. He'd be the best GM in the game today.

As well as yesterday. And perhaps even tomorrow.

I'm just glad nobody is cosigning this. Makes me feel better about our fanbase.
