Wings are on a three game losing streak, not two if you count an OTL as a loss

Dangggggggggg

That means they won twice as many as they lost, not three times, if you consider the OT and SO losses. Some of those 511 wins were in OT or SO games, too. But those impressive homeice statistics would be rendered meaningless if Price is especially sharp.

Good challenge here...playing the best team in the league right now in my opinion.

But we play better against good team !

Can't wait

I see us as the Judo Wrestler of hockey team: we use another team's forward momentum to catch them off-guard, when the play is open, and we create scoring opportunities like that. Thus, the more offensive and skilled they are, the better changes we have.

Which is why we suck on the powerplay, since when the other team focus on defense, we have a hard time imposing ourselves.

(It's not a foolproof strategy, obviously. If the other team dominates us in our own zone, there is hardly a chance for turnover)

I think you nailed it...we are very opportunistic with the turnovers. That's pure JM system. It's awesome that the players are able to apply it so well and win because of it imo.

The power play, I think we suffer a lot from the loss of Markov, but I totally see what you mean.

Good.

He'll respond well to the benching and score three goals, assist four and finish +10

But seriously he'll have a great game.

Sergio Momesso just said on the Fan 590 that judging by the practice skate today Gomez looks like he will be a go tonight.

Likely either Picard or Weber, if you ask me.

Not that I'd really agree with those options.

EDIT : Beautiful GDT MIG. You never fail us in awesome photo-shopping skills.

So much for Sergio's injury evaluation skills. At least Gomez shouldn't be out that long.

Glad Subban is back as this will be a tough game, too bad it's at Weber's expense but Picard has been playing good hockey for us. I hope Boyd plays like a Bat out of Hell as now is his chance to prove he still belongs in the NHL.

Damn, it's great to see him in the lineup. Not so sure it's great that the source of the news report is....PK Subban. He should take a nice long break from the media, or at least from telling them news they don't already have.

-Be good if Weber's back in tomorrow. I assume PK's going to be a regular, so JM will have to rotate the D to keep Weber in the mix. That's without injuries of course, knock wood.
