I'm so pumped to hear that Vinny is progressing well. I can't wait to see both him and Drury back in the lineup soon (plus we can finally drop some deadweight on the team)
There's a potential silver lining to this, as far as Vinny is concerned. He really wore out over the course of last season. If his knee is back healthy again, he might be able to play the second half of this season the way he played the first half of last.
I'm just worried that people are going to expect him to explode out of the gate. Everyone needs to realize that when he comes back, it will be his first game since last season, and he'll be competing against players who are in mid-season form. It's a lot to catch up on.
What would be ideal is if Prospal rounds out into midseason form right around the time the postseason rolls around. He'd be fresh, too, since he only played half a season. And if they get Richards, he'd make for a very solid winger with BR and Gabby, or a great second line option.
I'm almost expecting Drury to just chop his finger off and be done with it soon.

Drury has been a tremendous dissapointment
Personally, I'm hoping for:
Move #1 - White to AHL
Move #2 - Trade Frolov for futures (prospect or pick) or Frolov + Gilroy for LD on expiring contract
Move #3 - Christensen/Boogaard to extra forward spot

Disagree with the 'not showing up'. Even his most vocal critics--including those in the press--have always noted that Prospal keeps trying.
Oh and more than 600 points in 900 games--according to the stats--is pretty decent regardless of streakiness.
