12/11/10 - Minnesota @ LA - 9:30 PM - FSN (HD)

Thankfully for the Wild and every Minnesota hockey fan forced to be inside tonight, this game is in sunny Los Angeles. See, sometimes southern hockey can be a good thing. Anyways, your Minnesota Wild are coming off of 3-2 victory (yes I said victory) and looking for another one against the hottest team in the Western Conference.

Between the pipes will be everyone's favorite goaltender Jose Theodore. It looks like Matt Cullen will not be playing tonight as the Wild recalled Warren Peters from Houston. Greg Zanon's also a gametime decision, but he looks more likely to play along with John Madden. And of course James Sheppard is out with a knee injury.

Perfect timing for this game. (At least for me)

HNIC in 3D + Thrashers/Islanders game + GSP's fight around 10PM EST = great night

Nothing against GSP, but I want to see Koscheck win just for the reaction in Montreal.

That's the reason Minnesota is not a playoff-contender.

It is really hard to hate GSP. I mean he could eat babies and I'd still root for him.

and the reason why he started Martial Arts is pretty awesome if you ask me. He already earns a lot of respect just because of this.

i know..i'd cheer for a loss then talk to the tv. "sorry GSP, it's not you, its the Quebecois."

edit: not that there aren't fine upstanding Quebecois out there. don't want to inadvertently hurt the feelings of individuals but i'd be fine with making an entire population mad at me.

How can I cheer for Koscheck, a guy who hates Quebecois?

even though, I usually don't watch UFC but tonight is a special night.

I still haven't entirely bought into this whole UFC fad. I still see it as an evolved version of professional wrestling for the new millennium. That said, I love watching Anderson Silva lay the smack down.

For me it's an extension of boxing.

Picked wild to lose for the first time last game and they won so I want to keep this going. Wild lose 4-2.

I hope Peters actually plays during this call-up. He'd be wearing #43 which would mean that once that happens all the numbers under #50 will have been worn in Wild history except for #13 and for obvious reasons, #1.

I'm still waiting for a goalie to come in and be pissed about that.

They should have tore down the number from the rafters after the first non-sellout...

1. The 2007-2008 Northwest Division Champions banner needs company.

2. Be thankful there aren't "Attendance Champions" banners up at the X.

Yeah just imagine us not getting to sign a goalie because he doesn't like the fact that he can't wear his #1. Haha

If you're at work, it's possible that it's NSFW. As most things on UrbanDictionary are.\

Could we possibly get a record amount of posts in a GDT.. because of the weather?

Well the record is like 520 for one of the Edmonton games this year. That's always doable.
