I find it hard to believe they felt he was better than O'Byrne. Lets just hope the guy we got back can play in the NHL in a few years otherwise we let a D go we could use now.

Typical Habs/Leafs HNIC Saturday night game at the ACC.. No bounces and missed calls all night long..Not surprised by the result but this was a very lackluster effort from the Habs tonight but I kind of expected a letdown after playing the Wings last night..

How many times in the past few years have the Habs played the Leafs on the 2nd night of a back to back with the Leafs rested?

Pretty bad game. Poor effort and quite a boring show.

P.S.
Subban has to stop taking those dumb huge wind-up shots . He has to realize he's no longer in the AHL, you don't have that much time to shoot in the NHL. It's getting pretty annoying.

He let in 2 goals. He played well. If you can't score at least 2 goals against the Leafs, you don't deserve to win.

I'm wasn't a JM supporter when he was hired and I'm still not a JM supporter even if he is winning games with his boring no offense style..

5. PK SUBBAN needs to understand the pro game, he just needed to get the shot on net, not try to blast it through the boards!!!
6. Pyatt can use a seat; he plays hart but has 0 hands
I like your very nice words for a team who just woke the hell out of you guys.

Pouliot is actually great at keeping control of the puck in those close areas on the ice, and could actually be useful without Gomez out there when Subban isn't on the ice to gain the offensive zone. He also has one hell of a shot, which you can never discredit.

Seriously Harry? Who the heck scares other players from our team anyway? The only way our players scare other players is if they pretend they're dead after a fight.....Until then, every "let's hope we fight", let's pray we hit or let's teach them a lesson type of statements are irrelevant with this team.

LOL..neither of the Leafs goals even qualify as scoring chances in my books.

This team missing Gomez says more about the lack of offense on this team and not about Gomez bringing a lot of it to this team.

We don't have 1 comeback win this entire season with or without him.

In before the Darche points per power play minute stats get posted.

But but Subban is god! We can't win without him! Actually I think we are much worse with him in the line. The guy has been playing like garbage all season. His 9 points this season aren't exactly lighting up the place.

Personally I would send him back to the AHL until he can get his head back in the game. Right now he is lost and things are just getting worse.

Say what you will about this loss but Habs left Detroit with half a tank. They left everything on the ice last night in the 3rd. Their mind might still be in Detroit when the puck was first dropped tonight.

Makes sense why they would be. It doesn't mean he's good. Just means we suck.

Ps. Last I checked Pouliot had 1 PP point in 45 minutes, or basically 23 full PPs.

Garbage all season?

He's 3rd in points among defensemen. He's also a +2. He has struggled in a couple games but so has every single player on this team not named Plekanec and Price.

Darche will work from times to times. But putting him out there all the time, you just want to have unproductive nights like tonight...

It does bother me how we don't stick up for our players. McCarthur should have been sent a message.

you guys act like this team have no hole and should win every games. We don't have a second line winger since the beginning of the year, Markov is hurt and Gomez miss the last two games. What do you expect?

Habs are still in PO spot and they play really well most of the time

Too much waffle crap. JINXED. I hate over confidence. I don't like waffles. I hate bragging. I hate the Leafs. I love the Habs. I think PK needs to sit again.I think Captain Morgan Dark is a nice drink.
