3 at those numbers.

But I agree. Halpern is having a decent season and will probably price himself out of our range (I'm very happy with him, but most of that happiness is due to him making so little).

Eller's development can hopefully replace Halpern's production by next year and White can come in and give our 4th line some oomph.

Desharnais' is actually pretty fast when he gets going. Needs to work on acceleration.

Great games from the baby habs...Very impressed with Nash...Big hits, good wheels and posistioning! Max and David look amazing together...Conboy could be a very effective player on the fourth line! ...Fortier looks like a diamond in the ruff!

Nash in 2 or 3 years may be playing on the D line for the Habs, I've found him very intriguing from the moment we signed him. I think he could fill a gorges like role not overly great at anything but solid and mistake free

He is fast, great shape...yet I would be surprised. Seems to me like the perfect grinder for the AHL that "could" be called up once in a while for grinding reasons. But not regularly in the NHL....but stranger things have happened.

Pacioretty recalled! Now, that's why Martin was at the game!

I thought that goal was Wyman's but still a great game for Fortier who goes from 2 pts on the season to 6 in one night. Desharnais with some impressive feeds and Carle with a 3 pt night.

Last time the Dogs faced Rynnas he was outstanding, but looked average tonight, good to see the Dogs get back on track. Going to be a tough week for them, after tuesday nights game they play 4 in 5 days all on the road, 5 games in 7 days starting tuesday.

He's got size, speed and smarts...and has ability to play on defense if i'm not mistaken. I just think he has some tools a coach like Martin has been known to like.

Maybe a bit of a long shot, but I wouldn't count him out...

was very impressed about Nash today as well, nice size/speed combination...a bit more experience at the pro level and the Habs could have uncovered a good player here.

Also liked Conboy...I think another year in the AHL and he could challenge for a 4th line spot for the Habs.

Habs really have done a great job with their farm team...

Would Conboy have to pass waivers next October or does he have another year?

Conboy will be waiver eligible only from the 2012/13 season, according to this thread:

Nash is going to be with the habs next season... he is already too good for the AHL. Fluid skater, big and gritty, with some offensive awareness. Really liking him. Carle is a beast too.

We have such a log jam of D men who are almost ready for the NHL.

Nash had a good game. He will not be NHL ready next year he still struggles some games. On Friday in Rochester the bench was shortened and he didn't see the ice for the last 6 minutes of the game. The kid will be a solid two dman but not next year.

Sounds like great game by Fortier...is he a top prospect or a fluke game? He doesn't have many stats for a top player

Not a chance. I wouldn't refer to it as a fluke game either. He played his game, he just birued his chances. Matthew Barnaby had a four goal game once(against us in the playoffs, I almost cried that day).

He works hard, is good in his own end and has great speed, so I could see JM liking him down the road. But he needs to fill out his frame and work on his offensive game. The Randy's seem to like him as they have spoken highly of him this year, so we'll see where his game is at after 2 years. I wouldn't consider him a top prospect by any means, nor would I say it was a fluke.

There's no way he's too good for the AHL, but perhaps he will see some games with the Habs next year if injuries hit.

I wouldn't call Carle a beast either.
