Semin shouldn't be playing but since this is the new NHL and he is a "star" he is in tonight as well.

Would you rather Lundy not start at home, in a real important game, against a slumling WASH team.

What the *******! The Sabres aren't playing and the game is still blacked out for me. I hate Time Warner Cable.

Stupid NHL.com of course runs a "Goals of the year?" slideshow on the main page with the Nash goal from last night on it.

I swear all last year too, every time they ran a promo spot or NHL plug, it ALWAYS, included at least one clip of the Rangers getting scored on.

CONSPIRACY!

The Rangers have been playing well lately, sure they had a tough loss last night. I expect them to come out hard tonight. The caps havent exactly been lighting it up lately either. Sure, they always have the Rangers number at the Garden but im not about to throw in the towel before the puck drops. This Rangers team has earned more than that up to this point IMO. I dont care what team they play against. **** that.

I wouldnt be surprised if they pulled it out tonight, nor would i be surprised if they got blown out. But thats why you tune in. These are the games of will. Rangers have to get mad at home and play borderline dirty against a team that has been battling themselves. YOu CANNOT give them any reason to turn it around (though usually its always against the Rangers where teams find themselves and their goaltending for some reason) keep shooting on Varlamov, get in his face, run him over if you have to. Keep this Caps team uneasy. I want to see the Rangers score and get even more pissed off that its not enough. Controlled Fury.

Play nasty as the New York weather today. I wanna see Dubinsky have one of those nutty games tonight. I want to see Avery really get under their skin. I want to see Cally and Prust hitting everything in sight. I want to see Gabby using his speed all over the ice. I want to see Staal, Girardi and the rest of the D stand up to these forwards at the blue line, and i want all the forwards to come back, chip in help on D and continue to block a ton of shots. I wanna see Del Zotto get his nasty hitting game going and another Sauer fight wouldnt hurt. I wanna see a gut win and an emotional fire in this team tonight.

I'm definitely tuning in tonight and im going to be amped because i think the Rangers are P'Od and theyve had some nasty games with them in the past. They might be the perfect tonic to propel them to another level of hockey. They have some tough competition coming up and theyll need the motivation, lets try and stay positive despite the record against good teams that everyone is harping on.

LGR!!!!!

Thank you.

The announcers were saying the same thing. Am I taking crazy pills? Hank had no idea where the net was, it wasn't that hard to beat him nor was it an amazing snipe or something. I'll gladly admit when someone scores a fantastic goal against the Rangers but I don't really see this one...not goal of the year caliber at least.

Yep.... I don’t know how many times I had to see Ovechkin’s one handed goal against us last year….. It’s like a bad groundhog day……

Haha, seriously.

By the way, that's a nasty wound. Looks herpesque. Were you doing your best Ian Laperriere impression?

Last May I tried to catch a puck with my mouth….. My daughter took a picture with her cell phone…. Of course I’m as beautiful as ever now.

Probably not MSG with our luck.

Watching NHLnet now, they're interviewing Stammer, I think it's from last night, but it showed him working out over the summer with MDZ. If only MDZ would learn how to shoot the damn puck from him.

Edit: It's ****** Comcast. DAMMIT

The team has to bounce back from last night, but more importantly Hank needs to.
And I'd like to see more than a damn goal tonight and actually finish some scoring chances.. LETS GO RANGERS!
