Haha, not that I meant at all, but I see the confusion. I mean he's only played 9 games with us before this, and most of them were bad to neutral so a good game like last night doesn't have much competition for being his best game with us.

I think he meant a comparison to his previous 9 games... not the competition as in Detroit..

Dustin Boyd

I'm sure it has been asked but is he still apart of the team. I mean I thought he played well vs Detroit so why didn't JM give him another shot vs the Leafs instead of putting Weber on the 4th line????

Am I the only one who doesn't understand why does he get benched?

I always loved the way he player... great skating, big body, good puck handling, knows how to score.... He reminds me a little of Pouliot..

I just don't understand why Martin NEVER benched Pyatt when he clearly needs to get benched.. he is just aweful offensively? is it even possible to suck more than that offensively?

I agree that Pyatt hould sit in favour of Boyd, who was preety good versus Detroit. Why dosen't Martin rotate Boyd and Pyatt?

Now that we've called up Pacioreety (pressumably so that Weber can replace Spacek on D) it would seem that Boyd has been passed over by another prospect, yet again.

He benched him 2 games and atleast Pyatt is reliable in his zone which is the base for a grinder in Martin system and he isn't -6.

Can't name the source because it's not recognized here (yet Eklund is???), but I've read that Boyd might have played his last game as a Hab. Why? I have no idea what he could have done.
