Kinda expected this...with Pacioretty back up.

Maybe Habs were tipped a team might claim him this time...wouldn't be surprised to see that.

Well if the plan is to use pyatt as a center then maybe deharnais deserves a shot playing center somewhere.

Again? Well if he goes unclaimed this time I have to think the Habs will send him to Hamilton. The Bulldogs could use the help with Patches now in Montreal, and we may need the roster space.

However, someone on the trades board said Florida was interested in Boyd, so maybe they'll actually claim him this time.

It's obvious Martin is not a fan...Max P is with the Habs and barring a complete meltdown, is not going back down. So the extra forward spot will be between Pyatt/Darche

I'd be surprised if he wasn't claimed...the fact he was inserted vs. the Wings, looked decent for a player who hadn't played in weeks yet was still sat out the following game, then the recall of Max P.

I'm sure these roster moves aren't unrelated...

Poor guy... remember the feeling when you got picked last to play dodgeball? HE's going through the same, but 10x bigger since it's the professional level... and twice in a few months. Ouch.

I thought he stood out in a bad way defensively. Probably not the best way to stand out on a JM team.

I thought he played well against Detroit. I guess it's just a numbers game. I guess they've decided he's simply not physical enough to have playing along with Pyatt and Lapierre and our undersized top guys.

No question I'd rather see Patches get a shot. Hope he plays well and never goes back down.

I'm sure he'd rather be playing so I hope someone picks him up this time and gives him a chance to play in the NHL somewhere..

He looked like someone who hadn't play in over a month at the start of the game but I thought he had a good third period and even created a couple chances offensively.
