The potential to do what he is doing now and more was clearly there when he was with the Flames. He should have been here as part of the "new" Flames rather than having all the young drafted players traded for mediocre veterans.

Prust is a 4th liner, or at least he was with the Flames. As was mentioned we have plenty of people that can fill that role and the first time he was traded, he was simply a throw in. The second time it was most likely to balance the trade out. We were taking two in, therefore, two had to go out. Prust always had a good game that I liked becuse he could skate, but what he has turned into in New York is not what he was here. Simply put, he was a throw in... twice.
