Grats on your free two points tonight guys, let this Isles team you played tonight be an example of why you should always be grateful for stable ownership and a somewhat competitive team.

Cheers

And proof that it takes more than just stock-piling 1st over-all picks for a decade a la Pittsburgh...?

Great night of hockey... Preds win 5-0, Wings lose 0-5 (to the Kings).

Chicago and Columbus are both down a goal in the 3rd.

Definitely have good mojo going. Keep doing it until we lose a game in regulation I say!

Listening to the Isles post game show, they mention that one reason why the Preds won is because they play the trap

About as bad as the Hurricanes/Predators game I went to in Raleigh, where the PA announcer was apologizing to the "Caniacs" after the game for the Predators being boring.

Good game tonight. Thanks for contributing to our quest for the record books. Lindback was great. I am now gonna go buy some lottery tickets...

posted by me on our board at about 7 ET:

This one is gonna be rock bottom. 5 to 0 Nashville (Weber, Spaling, Hornvqist, 2 from Kostysin). Then we finally turn it around whenever the hell our next game is. I will only watch with the hope that Rack is playing tonight.

Yes, this seriously happened. It was the Saturday Nov. 20th game in Raleigh, car broke down on the way up there for the game, finally made it to the game anyway, and after the game was over, as we were walking out, I heard the PA guy say it. I asked the people I was with if they heard it just to be sure I heard it right, and the guy I was with (Canes fan) said that's what he said.

What's worse is that a lot of the Canes fans there were getting on my case about my complaints about it being a Saturday night game and the stadium being rather empty, to which they said it was due to NC State having a football game earlier that day (at 12, I believe, game was over in PLENTY of time, and the tickets were $22 at the door). Then that happened and I could only shake my head. I nearly turned around and apologized to the Canes fans for the Predators not playing defense like Mike Green and the rest of their terrible division's excuse for the word, but figured I'd just walk out instead.

Yeah saw that, and not only that but Rack played tonight.

Good luck with the lottery tickets.

Man, I can't even picture that. I mean that's just horrible. I only really hear announcers say things like 1:00 remaining, goal announcements and ticket offerings. What a tool.

From my seats tonight I could look across the ice into the tunnel. SK was just standing in the tunnel for a bit then turned and walked towards the lockerroom with less than 4 minutes less. I think if it was major he would have went on into the locker room.

Just got back from the game. Sincerely feel bad for Isle fans. That was possibly the worst NHL hockey team I've ever seen.

Ho hum game, but I'll take a 5 goal win anyday thank you very much.

I'd rather Trotz just keep his trap shut on injuries. We all know what his record is when he plays armchair doctor.

When Trotz says:

Day-to-day = minimum 25 games
Tweak = Compound fracture
Nothing serious = he isn't dead
Bruise = ......

Is any PREDATOR hustling more than Smitty???? Tonight made up for the debacle up on the island last season, with the PREDS making sure these guys didn't get any momentum. It is such a shame this once proud franchise has turned into this now. Get some rest tomorrow, guys...sharkies will bring a totally different look onto the Bridge surface Wednesday.

Team effort for Nashville Predators results in more than just a 5-0 win
