I hope it depicts realistic hockey acting like Miracle...or even Mystery Alaska to an extent.

Not that other **** like in Love Guru and H-E-Double Hockey Sticks

Well, it stars the guy who played Stifler in American Pie, so... yeah.

He's not only Stiffler, he's pretty good in all his roles. They're mostly comedic roles but he's still good.

I assume it's a comedy since it's described as "a more violent Happy Gilmore." Sean William Scott is usually funny in his roles so I'd probably see it.

Sounds like the right people involved, hopefully they keep the crap stereotypes to a minimum. I'll be interested in checking it out when it comes out.

Think it's supposed to be like a modern day Slapshot

Sure sounds a hell of a lot better than a hockey musical.

Now your just trying to piss off Bob Barker. This won't end well.

Looks like Eugene Levy is in it too, American Pie reunion? Looks like it could be good since its an R rated film.

I believe Kevin Smith is supposedly coming out with a hockey film soon as well.

I have a friend who refs hockey here in Winnipeg (as some of the movie was shot here I believe) because I've seen pictures of him and plenty of friends getting pictures with the Stiffmeister.

Not my favourite actor by any means but still pretty cool to see.

To me, he's "Stifler as (insert role here)"

I'll see it. As long as there's no monkey in skates, I'll see all hockey movies.

Jay Baruchel had a hand in writing and if I recall correctly he's a huge hockey fan.

Also, Sean William Scott is a better comedic actor than he's given credit for.

I always thought hockey would lend itself well for a character study in the mold of" The Wrestler". Particularly the role of being a goon, could make for a great drama and inject some humanity into a controversial subject.

I hope they don't try and portray it as such.... slap shot 2 sucked and I would hope they don't try a poor imitation...

Mystery Alaska? Is it the movie in which a team from a beer league beat a NHL team?
