Pretty great Lidstrom profile, guy should have been top-3 for Norris voting last year as well.

My big three was Keith, Doughty, and Pronger last year and I honestly thought Pronger deserved the win due to Keith's sub-par second half of the season.

I think we can all agree that Mike Green definitely didn't deserve it though.

Lidstrom should have been there, he got written off because of his slow start Offensively. Pronger should been there too. I think Lidstrom was 4th in voting, Pronger 5th

The Hockey News says Mike Richards is the 3rd best Power forward in the league. It also inexplicably asserts that Jarome Iginla is a better Power forward than Alex Ovechkin :X
Behind Richards are Rick Nash and Ryan Getzlaf as #4 and #5 respectively.

i agree. but i'm a fan of this "nhl overtime." it's nice to get some hockey analysis in the US outside of the NHL network. it needs more bill clement.

he's hosting "nhl overtime" which is a nightly analysis of the happenings of the nhl. i think it's relatively new (this is the first time i've seen it) and i'm not sure if he's always the host. i can't imagine he'd be available most nights considering his obligations to CSN.

Yeah I've seen it before, but he wasn't the host. I guess they change it up, and congrats to him for that.

Bizarre since I wouldn't classify Richards as a "power forward."

I wouldn't either, so how he ends up ahead of Nash (who is a poster boy for power forward in my mind) is a bit confusing.

No one, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a team get him for 2.5 off re-entry waivers.

Pens lose again, Crosby extends streak to 20. It's gonna be really sad but comical at the same time if the Pens losing streak hits say 5 and Crosby still has his secondary assist point streak alive, and that's all the media will talk about is the damn point streak.

meh Crosby is playing well, he got primary assist not secondary.

In fantasy who to drop when Hossa gets back:

Bryan Little
Val Filpulla
David Jones

Naw, I agree he's playing insanely good. But I take any shot at Crosby I can get.

I thought the same.

Best part of the episode today was Ovi's conversation with the refs afeter Semin's ejection for the crosscheck.

Ovi: Was there blood?

Ref: Yeah, he hit him here (points to his own neck). ****in' blood all over.

Ovi: Well, he must have sensitive skin, right?

Talbot and Dupuis seem like fun guys to have around the locker room. I was hoping to see more of Knuble and Asham, but maybe they'll get some attention in the next episode.

Edit: Boudreau also swears far too often. Bylsma's more effective with the cussing.
