If somebody could find an article in english that would be great. But it says Ryan Johansen makes the Team Canada junior squad.

Good for him, still think we should have gone with Fowler.

Me too... RJ, Sestito, Clark, Boll and Fowler would be fun to watch all on the ice at the same time..

Take note that of the guys who have already made the team, only Johansen was drafted in 2010. That speaks volumes about his potential. If he has a good showing at the WJC, I cant see how he doesnt make the NHL next season for good.

My thoughts exactly.

It will be interesting where he ends up on the depth chart, as he will undoubtedly be one of the more talented pivots there. I'd love to see him on the second line (Schenn will probably get the first line).

Big chance for him. He hasn't been producing at the rate I had hoped for, so we'll see if he can be an impact player on a bigger stage.

As someone noted earlier, Johansen is the only member from the 2010 draft class, I wouldn't be surprised to see him start out on a lower line and possibly play his way upwards in the lineup. Or maybe he'll be centering one of the top two lines, I really know nothing about this team.

Connolly, Schwartz, Howden, Hamilton, Gudbranson, and Visentin were all 2010 draftees FWIW. I think what DuklaNation was implying was that Johansen was the first one to be announced.

He's in the NHL. Usually they don't let their players leave. Burmistrov, Hall, Skinner won't go either. Seguin might go, but that's strictly for cap relief.

I don't think that one through. If you couldn't tell i'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. My hockey knowledge(and common sense) only goes so far.

Great news! Happy for Ryan. Just try not to own the swedish defense to much.

Rosters aren't out.

The only one with a shot is Straka for the Czech Republic.
