I'm pretty sure the new deal includes an increase in televised games not only for this season, but more next season and even more the season after that! It should be to the point where nearly all games are broadcast, I think the number was 76 but that's just a guess on my bad memory.

Because you're getting a liberal arts education. Unless, of course, you can get a BS in English, which I don't think you can unless you go to some online school based in Mexico.

It's hard to believe that this is the first time we'll have played the Sharks this year. We always seem to get early fixtures against them, especially on the West Coast Death March.

Nice. I hope that's the case. I can't afford to throw Center Ice on to my already expensive Direct package. Streaming them just isn't the same as watching them on the 55". One thing I have greatly enjoyed this year is all of the games being in HD.

I know it's short notice, but I have an extra ticket if someone would like to join me in section 316 row G. Just PM me.

As for game predictions:
As much as I'd love to pick up a Frosty on the way home, I don't think we'll see more than 4 goals total.
3-2 Preds in SO with O'Riley or Wilson being the difference-maker.

Not sure of the line up but I am about 99.9% sure Ward is not playing today. Personal issues

Nhl.com says it is on CSN - CA, and NHL center ice. Not sure if that helps

No but won't be hard to find streaming, especially since we're playing SJ.

I've decided to risk the ice and make it to the game. Because it's not reckless driving. It's good forechecking.

I've decided to not come tonight. My mail box was covered by freezing rain and there is a good chance that it will freeze during the game. I'll be using my two tickets that I didn't come to this week to bring my gf on Jan 11 for the ticket exchange day. I'll be watching it on Center Ice.

Sitting in Mount Juliet now and there is nothing, but cloudy skies. Staying in Hermitage this week and Weather.com says there's nothing there yet either.

Weather.com says Nashville won't get precipitation till 10 o'clock hour. Likely heading to game unless someone else can show me something different...

Whatever everyone decides, please be safe tonight and tomorrow. No need to take risks. Drive carefully and use common sense.

Ohhhhh, I could tell you several reasons, but then somebody would complain that I was a racist..

Let's go, boys! Play hard for 60 minutes and I'll have no complaints, win, lose, or draw.

(Psstttt....a win would really, really be nice though..)

Whats sad? I hate missing these games. I guess for me I don't have much experience driving in ice and snow and I'm concerned for my safety on driving. I'll keep my computer on so we can chat during the game

Everyone else be safe. Wish I was there with everyone.

I mean sad you can't go. Trust me I understand not wanting to risk anything. I had to drove through a foot of snow for the first time ever this past week. That was scary. I just am sad you can't go.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. Ice is a different kind of beast. A scary one lol. Hopefully it will all clear up for Saturdays game against the Kings.

For what it's worth, getting Center Ice will not guarantee HD programming. I'm in FL and have seen two games in HD, one local broadcast against Tampa Bay and the other was the national broadcast on Center Ice. Some cable networks don't broadcast the games in HD even if they're being shot in HD. Totally annoyed me after I paid for Center Ice. No one mentioned this to me at all when purchasing either so I've gotten used to watching the games in regular definition but at least I'm getting the majority of the games.

Can't wait to see the guys live and in person on Saturday night though. First game of the year in person for me. Talk about hockey withdrawal.

I have a bad feeling about tonight. I'm thinking Lindy is finally going to show his inexperience against the Sharks. Won't be surprised if Dex doesn't see some action in relief.

Man, I hope I'm wrong.
