Another tail end of a back to back in Montreal, here's hoping for a better result than the last.

Probably going to need better effort on the PP this time around for that to happen. I'd like to see Z, JVR and Nodl have strong games as well.

So why Bobrovsky over Boosh?

“It’s a back-to-back game and we’re in the middle of some games here,” said Laviolette, admitting he talks constantly to goalie coach Jeff Reese about his rotation and how to handle his goalies.

“I have faith in all of the goaltenders. I talk to [Reese] all the time. Ulitmately, I have to make a decision. A lot times, everybody has, not a different opinion but their own thoughts. I’ve got to make a call. Jeff is in constant communication with the goaltenders, their work and what they do and to have those conversations is really important.”

Bobrovksy has not played since Dec. 8 against San Jose, sitting out three straight games. Given he is a rookie, a European, and speaks little English, you have to wonder whether leaving him hang on the vine messes with his mind.

Then again, there has been no indication outwardly by Bobrovsky that anything bothers him. That said, the Flyers don’t want to lose Bobrovsky, who has been a savior this season and could be on the NHL All-Star squad next month.

“I don’t think like you guys,” Laviolette said. “Bob is a terrific goalie who has played terrific for us this year. It’s his turn tonight. We’re counting on him to get us a win. You guys are going down a road I am not going to touch.”

Just noticed that when the Flyers score a goal, Lavi does a Rodney Dangerfield with his tie!

Are you listening online through NHL.com? If so, the feed starts at gametime, 7:30 PM.

TSN interviewed PK Subban -- the kid is so freakin' cocky it's unbelievable. He said something to the effect of "good players always attract the opposition's focus, so I'm used to it". Please junior, you were benched last week.

Come on Flyers, shut him the hell up.

LOL -- two minutes into the broadcast and McGuire has already busted out "big body presence"!

Good thing no one is playing the Pierre drinking game tonight!

That TSN intro is really Canadian-focused. Pretty much the only players not in the jersey of a Canadian team are team Canada members. The only guy I could identify for whom neither is true was Ovechkin.

A certain level of attitude is needed sometimes if you want to assert yourself. However Subban is really making himself look like an idiot. Big mouth rookie who isn't backing up his place on the ice. At least when Crosby let his mouth run, he owned us on the ice badly.
