Well to be fair we did have 2-3 whinge-fests on there this season already. For the life of me I cant understand why someone would go there and start a thread like that. You wanna ***** about refs, do it on our boards. You start a thread like that over there and you'll get all the Cryers, Pens and Debbies idiots ganging up on us.
It's not me whose starting them.
But my point was just that Penguin fans complain that we start them, and then go and create one themselves.

I'm not saying its you. I never meant anything along those lines.
They are hypocritical little *****es. They'll start them as often as we would and I remember them complaining how we are the kings of starting those threads. Every fan base has 'those' fans.

For me, its hard to stay out of the main board when I read comments such as "Lets not sink to the level of New Yorkers".
Why are people saying the Dupuis call was a bad one? I didn't see Rozsival shove him in the crease.... Lundqvist didn't have a fair chance at the puck because Dupuis was right on top of him in the crease....
Agreed, Dupuis could have avoided contact with Lundqvist there and opted not to. Rozy was right on top of him but he wasn't pushing him into Lundqvist.
It could have been much worse for the Pens actually... the refs called incidental contact instead of goalie interference.

Now that's ****ing bushleague, and that's when I don't blame you for jumping on that ****. Just haters because New Yorkers are the most popular. No one thinks it's cool that you're from Pittsburgh or whatever hick ass town you're from. But when you're from New York... Different story.
hope it's either zucco or weise coming up to replace cally instead of the great white spark being put back in.
nice call on Weise he would work well on the 4th line. Can anyone else believe that White has bought himself another 6 weeks atleast? Vinny back in the new yr will help
I know we just had an offensive explosion in the last two games and the Caps are in a real slump, but how strange is it to see that we have more goals on the season in the same number of games as the Caps? Just bizarre.
Great comeback win. I really hate the Penguins. The pens announcers and fans are the biggest whiners in the league. I guess they get that from there captain.
The Avery fight seemed to get the team going. They basically had all there best scoring chances in the game right after the fight. I thought Boyle was the rangers best player. He had a real strong game. Nice shot by Anisimov good to see him playing better these last couple of games.
I know it shouldn't matter and was probably just coincidence but the team started playing really well after that Avery fight... Forget what Asham is listed at, he's a very good fighter and has a few pounds on Avery. Think that may have fired the team up a bit.

I thought Avery only fought guys smaller than him?
That's one of the things that opposing fans will say that lets you know that they know absolutely nothing about the guy, past the Phaneuf "incident" and Marty stick-wagging.
Good on him. He's supposed to be a spark for the team. and tonight, he definitely was.
Huge win for the Rangers tonight. Another character win imo.
This team is doing a good job of dealing with adversity and have completely bought into the coach. Tonight my friends I give a ton of credit to Tortorella. Perfect game plan. He knew the Pens had an emotional loss and a lot of games lately, he knew it was difficult to get back on the horse after 12 straight wins, so he had his team play a hard, dirty defense first game and wait until their chances came in the third.
Give the players credit for sticking with it. I thought they couldnt make a damn pass to save their lives and were getting totally outplayed for the first half of the game, their offensive spacing was shiit - but their defensive positioning was spot on and they forced the Pens to take shots from the outside for the most part. They didnt give the Pens successive powerplays, they kept the odd-man rushes down and they did what they had to do to gut through 2 periods. It was frustrating to watch them pull of the forecheck completely like they were conceding any offensive pressure, but 5 minutes into the third you could see the tables start to turn as the Pens legs completely gave out.
Then the Rangers turned it up and we saw something tonight that we havent seen in years IMO, a killer instinct. They had a good team on the ropes and they buried them. Its easy to say that the Pens tired out and the Rangers took advantage but the Rangers played a smart game and took it to them when they had the chance. Kudos to the coaching staff and the players on this one.
Cally is a huge loss, no doubt. But maybe theres a silver lining, when he comes back in 4-6 weeks itll be another boost to a team who is getting production from different players on a nightly basis. Because of it, 33 Games in and the Rangers are 9th in the league with an average of yes... finally - 3.00 G/G. How about that!?
