It's too bad this didn't happen at least a little later if anything so White would be down in Hartford.

Now the bums just gonna play again.

Big loss. Good thing Drury's back or the PK would have been FUBAR.

Huge loss it sucks. Hopefully they will either call up MZA or Weise. I do not want to see White back in the lineup. Just when I thought he was finally gone.

Now all should start showing appreciation for Drury.

Prospal will be back after Christmas so that should will help.

The "good" out of this is the schedule is very light the rest of the month after Saturday and the end of the 6 weeks is the All Star Break so that should give Cally a little more extra time to heal.

It's gonna stink without him for the next 6+ weeks but having him at full force for the stretch run will be huuuge.

By my count, 6 weeks will keep him out between 13 and 16 games.

Zuccarello, Weise, Grachev, Williams are the most likely callups from where i'm standing.

I dont understand why anyone would be called up. White will stay up now until Prospal comes back.

We weren't talking about callups when drury was out so why would we now?

Drury will slot into one of the top 3 lines and white will play on the 4th. Then when vinny comes back slot him in. No problems here and no reason for a callup

does someone not have to get called up to atleast spare. Boogie seems out for a while. I can't believe it but White just bought himself another 6 weeks on the team with this injury.

Gaborik has really been invisible most games. Not sure if I love Stepan and Fedotenko with him. They have'nt been bad but havent been real good either.

I imagine they keep Dubi, Ani, Dru together. Frolov , Boyle, Prust

many people bash EC but he has gotten some goals and he's a good PP option. Avery and ? Please not White. I would like to see Weise if they are looking for a depth player. MZA needs top 6 minutes and I really don't think Grachev deserves the call at this point

Should they make a call yea but I see how some say no one will get called up and White will just come back in

sucks to lose cally, but to put a positive spin on it, he usually beats himself up over the course of a season so a month-month and a half break in the middle should freshen him up for the 2nd half of the season.

Look at it this way, gives Gaborick room to step up!

True, and another positive maybe it keeps his contract down.

Not saying its a good thing, defintley wish it didn't happen...

Boogaard is out as well.

Callahan + Prospal + Boogaard = call-up

Drury + Prospal =/= call-up

We have at least 3 games, probably more, until Prospal is back. If Boogaard is also going to be out those games, we'll probably call someone up. Don't want to go without a spare forward.

would love to see a callup instead of white playing but i don't see anyone getting called up. they will just put drury in callahan's spot and leave the rest of the lineup the same.

We need Mike Duco from Florida/Rochester. Times like this, we could use his energy. He'd hit every chance he gets.

I'd rather have that Selleck kid from Rochester.

Replacing Callahan's game = Weise
Replacing a 2nd line RW = Zuccarello

Should be interesting to see if they do anything at all.

Good thing we got Drury back. Both play an extremely similar style, so at least we won't feel the full effect of losing Callahan. Hopefully Drury can regain form quickly. Looked great tonight.

It would have been nice to see the team with both in the line up but what are you going to do? The PK would shoot up into the top-5 with both of those players in the line up.

****.....cally is consistently the only thing that makes me feel good about games where the team plays like **** (other than henrik, more often than not).

Hopefully the other guys can step up in his absence.

Thats what i was going to post.

Lets look at the silver lining here guys, in 4 to 6 weeks Cally will come back and it will be another big boost for the club to round out the lineup. Sure it hurts, but Cally gets 6 weeks rest now - if the Rangers make the playoffs well have a player with great legs, and one that really performs well when fresh. At least its not a leg problem and just a bone or two that can heal.
