For interests sake, Team Canada made their final cuts. I guess most pertinent to the previous discussions was that RNH got cut. I still expect him to go top 5 in the draft regardless.

Saying he is "very Sakic like" is a disgrace to the player Sakic was. RNH, while skilled, is nowhere near the talent of Sakic.

In fact, he reminds me of a smoother skating CHL version of Stepan. Really nice playmaking skills and someone who MAYBE could be a 1st line center, but someone who really looks better slotted on the 2nd line.

I am not a RNH fan at all compared to some out there.

yes we know. thanks for letting us know. again mrs sakic.

hes a kid whos been on the radar for quite sometime. hes an open book. he has sublime skills. amazing hands, equal parts shooter and passer with a very developed 2way game. sound familiar ?

whether or not you approve of the comparison to joe sakic. dont care. really.

looking at the canadian roster, im surprised at some of the cuts.

just making an initial observation, im liking the us squads team speed at forward alot.

i like team usa more than canada right now.

in fact, not all that impressed with canada at all.

Well, due to the fact that some Canadians are already making excuses, i'd imagine Canadians agree with you.

I can't believe Team Canada let Ryan Murphy go. Makes no sense.

Seriously, atleast carry him as an extra. Especially since they seem to be a team lacking offense, he definitely would've helped there.

Same reason team Canada didnt carry Mike Green in the olympics last year.

Canada likes to let the forwards take care of the offense, let the D play D and chip in when they can. Murphy is a bit of a roamer.

At times, he makes Del Zotto look like Scott Stevens in his own end. I like Murphy a lot, but man is that kid high risk in his own zone.

the only excuse that we could come up with would be the amount of talent we have in the NHL, but I don't understand why anyone will feel the need to make up an excuse for a JR tournament...

Where does everyone see that Victor Rask kid go? Definitely top-10?

I think it would hilarious if Bruins pick Rask with Leafs' 1st rounder. That would 2nd time that Leafs have 'gift-wrapped' a Rask to Bruins.
