The past 3-4 games in a row now SK74 has setup what may be the prettiest handful of Preds goal-scoring plays all season, maybe even including last season (O'Reilly against Carolina, Wilson against Atlanta, Suter last night).

It's really getting to the point where whenever Kostitsyn is on the ice, you think the Preds have a chance to score, and ever score very entertaining goals!

I honestly think that SK has taught the rest of the team how to pass. How beautiful have some of these set ups been? Even the ones without SK involved. I don't think I've seen consistent passing like this from this team in years.

I actually didn't realize how young this guy was. Nashville has some young players with some pretty decent offensive skills right now. SK, Wilson, O'Reilly... That's a pretty bright future if they all stick around for a while.

Also, this is one thing I like about Trotz. As much as we all complain that he favors veterans, stifles young offensive talent, etc., I've always thought that when a player genuinely buys into the system and shows himself to be trustworthy, Trotz has rewarded that player with ice time. I think SK has taken that step forward, and as a result he's getting more time on the ice. He's playing solid defensively, and using his speed and creativity to make things happen in the offensive zone. I'm really starting to like this kid's game.

With a goal and an assist tonight, points streak is now at 6 games. As Trotz said in the postgame, it seems like he's playing better and better every game. The more confident he gets, the more dangerous and noticeable he seems to become.

Now we just have to hope he's not the latest Shea Weber casualty

Trotz says he doesn't expect SK to miss any playing time.

Which is good because he has been probably our best forward the last few games.

Not exactly comforting, considering the source.

Noticed that too, especially those great TRUE fans of Pittsburgh who have and always will sell out....whenever they are winning.

No one knows the game better than "Pittsburgers", who will only pay to actually watch the game once the team tanks enough to grab up some highly touted draft picks. Otherwise they are too busy in those STEAL mills

I actually like the Penguins, but I take offense to the bandwagoners because I've liked them since 1992 when I was seven years old.

Not too bad of an article, but if you read some of those comments (which I mocked above) you'll realize why their writing is the way it is. Look at that market to which they're trying to appeal. I mean, the writer makes ONE joke about Crosby snickering at SK's six-game point streak, one idiot Pens fan takes it as serious and decides to tell us how much better Crosby is (really?), and that's the comment section right there. I'm glad I stopped reading THN before it sucked me down into that level of glassy eyed stupidity.

Thanks for the read, though
