Hopefully it's not the big toe, doesn't that one help with balance and equilibrium (even in a boot)?

It is better to be safe in this situation, why not see a "specialist" and get it diagnosed correctly, since the Flyers medical staff pretty much sucks and have been known to rush players back way too early.

I think it's hilarious that he was the 3rd star of the game. I believe it was Bob, Gionta, then PK. No JvR at all which is ridiculous.

This is pretty funny. I hope Pronger is alright.

Pronger will be evaluated on FRI. Foot/.ankle specialist is looking for a possible fractured toe, I am told. His loss would be HUGE

@tpanotch "huge" fractured toe ... In December? Is this a faketpanotch tweet? It's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

I saw that and thought it was a joke. Subban as a star in the game? He basically gave the win to the Flyers.

I think Philadelphia media chooses the stars at home for the Flyers. If that holds true for Montreal, and based on what I know about the Montreal sports media, I think those 3 are what I would have expected.

I don't think there's a more overrated or over-hyped player in all of hockey then Subban. That's just me though.

We've been pretty lucky with injuries this season up until now so I guess we have it coming.

He's a really talented player who can be a game breaker, but any time he's played the Flyers he tries low percentage passes and skate around with little discipline.

Opportunity beckons.

Obviously, I don't want Pronger to be hurt, but I'd like to see how the team reacts without him. I don't mind him having to sit out the next few games if it means we get a fresher Pronger when the games mean more. Holmgren paid two more guys so that Pronger and Timonen don't have to play 27 minutes a piece. Let's see how that translates when Pronger isn't playing entire games.

We both know that Kimmo is going to put the defense on his back.

He has a better group behind him now that wasn't as good before Pronger was here. Meszaros and O'Donnell are here so that this doesn't have to happen.

It might not have to happen, but Kimmo loves to play big minutes and Mez and OD haven't played any sort of quality minutes against quality competition.

As soon as games get close I think we'll see Kimmo eating up the minutes.

Who else do you have complete trust in?

I have complete faith in any pairing that isn't anchored by Matt Carle.
